Sancharaka Udawa
Sancharaka Udawa provided a platform for small and medium-sized tourism businesses from across Sri Lanka to showcase their products and services, connect with industry stakeholders, and build valuable networks within the wider tourism sector. The event also featured workshops, entertainment activities and networking opportunities for exhibitors, sponsors and industry members.
Bongo Travel had the opportunity to engage with fellow tourism professionals, explore industry connections and support the continued development of Sri Lanka’s diverse tourism offering.
Selfie with Santa
Bongo Travel brought some festive cheer to the holiday season with a fun Santa Selfie activity, inviting participants to capture a selfie with Santa and share it with Bongo Travel.
The initiative gave participants an opportunity to take part in a festive social media engagement and stand a chance to be selected as a lucky winner during the holiday season.
Travel & Leisure Fair
Bongo Travel participated in the Travel & Leisure Fair at Crescat, bringing a range of travel opportunities and holiday packages to visitors.
The event provided an opportunity for visitors to meet the Bongo Travel team, explore available travel offers, and learn more about destinations and holiday experiences. As part of the event, visitors were also invited to participate in a social media engagement activity by taking a photograph with the Bongo Travel team, sharing it on Facebook, and tagging @BongoTravel to receive a surprise.
The fair was held at Crescat, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, offering visitors an opportunity to connect with Bongo Travel and explore their next travel experience.
National Superhero Day
To mark National Superhero Day, Bongo Travel celebrated the spirit of superheroes by looking back at memorable moments from SL Comicon 2019, where Bongo joined some of the event’s amazing superhero characters for a series of fun photographs.
